Rates and Accomodations

	Prices include all applicable taxes. Please arrive at least one and one-half hours prior to departure time. Boarding is approximately 15 minutes prior to departure, but dependent upon weather conditions. Prepaid tickets may be picked up at the ticket window located inside the depot. The Verde Canyon Railroad offers special group rates for 20 or more persons booked through one person with one reservation. Charter rates are available for a specific railroad car or the entire train. Email ellen@verdecanyonrr.com for more information and pricing.

	Advance reservations are required. All major credit cards are accepted. Prepayment is required to reserve space. No assigned seating. When booking reservation, please let sales agent know if there are any special needs. Refunds will only be made if reservation is canceled at least 48 hours prior to departure.

Family-fun seating is offered in vintage coach cars, with Pullman-style seats on each side of a center aisle that flip forward and back just like in the early days of rail travel. Convenient snack bars offer limited alcoholic service such as beer and wine, and non-alcoholic beverages along with munchies . Cars access open-air viewing cars for great photographic opportunities.

Affordable extravagance is experienced in a first-class car, seating 24 to 40 pampered passengers, depending on each car’s unique configuration and décor. Seating includes comfortable love seats or upholstered high-back chairs, along with access to open-air viewing cars. Passage includes a glass of Champagne or sparkling cider upon boarding, and a variety of appetizers. All cars include a full-service bar with premium liquors, and complete beverage service to all seats.

Step back into luxury, when running a railroad meant riding in your own private car. Designed to accommodate a private party of six or fewer adults, the caboose features such upgraded amenities as crystal glasses of Champagne, plentiful appetizers and premium beverages, all served by a personal attendant. Two private viewing platforms beckon passengers from the overstuffed leather chairs to the fresh outdoors, and cupola seats provide birds-eye canyon viewing.

All cars have restrooms and are climate-controlled. Enthusiastic attendants point out interesting natural features and keep a sharp eye out for wildlife and waterfowl. Taped commentary and music provide a pleasant, informative narration throughout each four-hour journey. First-class and coach passage both have cars with wheelchair access.
